Kerala CM VS Achuthanandan inaugurated the new Low Floor buses yesterday which will serve Trivandrum city from 18 November 2009. These buses are equipped with all luxury features which a passenger needs like phone charger, stop announcement etc.
But the busfare is high comparing to ordinary or fast passenger buses. Minimum charge to travel in low floor bus is Rs 10 and maximum is Rs 60.
This bus service in available from Kovalm to Kaniyapuram covering almost all city area’s like Kizhakke Kotta (East Fort), Sasthamangalam, Medical College, Kazhakuttom etc.
