Adarsh S won the Title along with a flat worth 50 lakh rupees at the Grand Finale of Asianet Munch Star Singer (Season 2) held on 14 August 2011. The finals were held at the Nishagandhi Auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram.

Congrats Adarsh. You have a long way to go!

The second position went to Vishnu S Janardanan while Vaishakhi grabbed the third position. The other two competitors where Yedu Krishnan & Parvathy Soman who won 4th and 5th place respectively.

IPL 4 Winner is Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Chennai Super Kings become the champions of IPL 4 by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore. CSK won the final match against RCB by 58 runs.

This is the second time victory of Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premiere League. They were the champions of last season ie IPL 3.

UDF wins Kerala Assembly Election 2011 with a thin majority by defeating their opponents LDF & BJP. The final results of Kerala Assembly Election 2011 are as shown below:

Total Seats – 140.
United Democratic Front (UDF) – 72.
Left Democratic Front (LDF) – 68.
Others – 0.

This result distinctly shows that UDF under the leadership of Shri. Oommen Chandy will rule Kerala for the coming 5 years.
